Nighttime for Cubs

Heather Bear finally slept all night on her platform. Up until now, she has been going up a tree to sleep, after starting out on the platform.

She favors that particular spot on the platform. We wonder if she likes the security of being close to the tree.

She is looking so much better!

Even the fur on her caboose is growing back. Now she just needs to fatten up that caboose!

The four cubs in Enclosure #4 started out on the platform.

But one by one they climbed up to high branches to sleep.

These cubs slept in after a wild night of foraging and carousing.

Some night footage of the goings-on.

One of the cubs took a turn at the Swingy Dhingy.

Highland Bear, lying on his back, attacks a sapling. As the cubs get bigger they are able to do greater damage.

Day or night, bear cubs manage to wreck things and create havoc in their enclosures. Question: What will be left when they return to the wild?
