To prepare the cubs for their release into a Wild Enclosure, the curators are offering some natural foods like the ones they would find in the wild.
The trio found a lovely rotten log in the Acclimation Pen. It was full of juicy bugs that the cubs enjoyed.
In their room there was green, leafy lettuce. Bears in the wild eat tender green leaves and plants in early spring.
Daisy Mae inspected the lettuce. We don’t know what her opinion was.
All we can see of Tots is her lower half. The rest of her is in her Cubby Cave.
Later, we see Tots eating her porridge. There is a red raspberry on the log for later.
The other threesome, Peeps, Casper, and Shadow, postpone eating to catch a snooze in their Firehose Hammock.
We had computer issues that kept us from posting for several days. The difficulty is resolved now, and we are back to work.
