The UT vets gave the OK for Boomer Bear to be released from Acclimation Pen #2 into the Wild Enclosure. Here is how that went.

The gate was opened, and Boomer noticed right away.
He didn’t hesitate to walk through the opening.
He paused to gather information about this place through his sense of smell.
He was a bit nervous and uncertain in this new, large space.
Boomer headed for the trees.
Up a tree he went in a blur.

We saw him leave the Acclimation Pen and go out into the Wild Enclosure. In our next post, we’ll see what happened when he encountered some of the other cubs in the enclosure. Watch this space.
