More Wild Enclosure #1

We don’t have photos by Ken LaValley today, so we’re back to posting the photos taken by the enclosure cam. Yesterday we focused on Raven and Chickadee in Wild Enclosure #2, with just one photo that Ken managed to get of the trio (Dumplin’, Tweetsie, and Ferdinand) in Wild Enclosure #1.

We catch up with the trio again as they sleep on the platform.

The three cubs discovered that the platform is a great place to sleep.
They wake up slowly, still looking very sleepy.
Tweetsie Bear goes down to get a snack, while Ferdinand goes back to sleep.
In enclosure #2, the cubs explore their big space. Aren’t they brave?!
Downy Bear stands by the Cubby Pool.
The faucet is intriguing. Downy investigates.
Next thing you know, he’s in the pool to swim a few laps.
The best way to dry off is to run!
Over in the Yearling Enclosure (#4) Sparks snoozes in his favorite place.

As we can see, all of the cubs plus the yearling at ABR are adjusting well to their new habitats. We’ll continue to watch them and enjoy their discoveries as time goes on.
