As promised, here is the release of Juggles Bear into Wild Enclosure #2. He had been confined ever since his arrival,because of the highly contagious bacterial infection that sickened the cubs in Enclosure 4 and led to the deaths of Flapjack and Burrito. Naturally, we didn’t want him to be exposed to the deadly illness.
Poor Juggles has been in Hartley House and the Recovery Center for about 2 1/2 weeks – a very long time for an active bear cub!

He dashed out so fast that his image is a blur!
We’ll see how he relates to his new “family” – the cubs in Enclosure #2 – Doodlebug, Tater, and Nugget. It may take a few days, but we think they will get along very well. Stay tuned.
