This is your chance to actually see what hyperphagia looks like.  Curator Coy shot video footage of all three cubs eating very intently.  We can see what short work they make of a pear or apple.  You’ll notice that when he is in the sunlight, Finnegan’s fur takes on a lighter, reddish color.  You will also see Eliza Bear take a pear back into the underbrush to enjoy it in private.  If you recall, she did that a few days ago.  The video ends with Finnegan in the pool – it’s been hot and he still enjoys a swim.  Can’t say we blame him!  Click here to watch this entertaining glimpse of our cubs in action.
