Freedom! King B is Outside!

This was a big day for out little Balthazar Bear – he is now out in the Wild Enclosure! Here is how it played out.

The door is opened and out he goes.
What? He encounters his first-ever snowfall in the ramp to the Acclimation Pen.
The curators had placed several diversions in the pen, but King B ignored them and made a b-line (b for bear) straight through to the gate to the outside.
King B greets a tree. He hadn’t seen a real tree for a month!
We finally get a better look at him.
King B is a good-looking bear How nice of him to pose for his photos!
In an overview of the enclosure, he looks very small.
King B set about to explore his new territory.
Peanuts! What a find for King B!
King B has a darker muzzle than the other yearlings.
In this long shot, King B seems like a tiny little bear.
He comes upon a Forbidden Tree. No, King B, you can’t climb that one!
