If you remember Doodlebug Bear when she arrived in May, and how worried everyone was about whether she would make it, today’s Doodlebug story will make you smile, or chuckle, or even laugh out loud! It starts with Curator Cole cleaning the room in Hartley House and setting up the Cubby Pool.
This is the room that the two smallest cubs are sharing.
Doodlebug doesn’t hesitate. She gets right into the pool. Tater isn’t ready to join her yet.
She begins to fold the pool and Tater scurries away.
Doodlebug is a strong little bear cub!
She is intrigued by the little streams of water that are formed by her folding.
What fun to control the water and where it goes!
She gets out to see her work from the other side.
Now what? It seems that she is trying to repair the results of her destruction.
All fixed! No one will ever know! And Doodlebug leaves the scene.
