Cubs Sleep and Play

Comments are off

The three bear cubs had quite a day.  They checked out the tire bridge that is like a wonderful playground for bear cubs, and also found that it is a good place to nap.  Of course they also use the trees for playing and napping.  We might say their time is spent eating, sleeping and playing, not necessarily in that order.

Otto

Otto caught some z’s in a tree.

Apollo

Apollo tucked himself into this comfy place to snooze.

Apollo

After his nap, Apollo investigated the tire bridge.

Apollo climbed through the middle of the tire.

Otto

Otto took a nap in-on this tire.

Rollo

Rollo rested on this tire, using it as a hammock.

Bear cubs are naturally curious and check out all manner of things in their environment.  The tire bridge was installed for enrichment, and it is well used by each group of cubs.  It’s interesting to see how different cubs use the tire bridge.  They are creative.
