While the games are going on in Tokyo, there is a mini version taking place at ABR as the most recent additions to the class of 2021, Prost and Cheers Bear, are using their Cubby Pool to practice their moves. They had been very reclusive, and the curators didn’t see them often, as the cubs were either high in the trees or hidden deep in the underbrush. A couple of days ago, however, the brother and sister came out to swim in their pool! We aren’t sure who was the leader in their swimming games, but once that cub ventured into the water, the other followed closely. The wrestling activity was uniquely theirs, as we haven’t seen any of the human swimmers do that. Maybe it would be an idea for a future Olympics, but we doubt it.
