Boudreaux in Enclosure #2

As Curator Coy had planned, the two male yearlings are now in separate enclosures. King B (Balthazar) is in Wild Enclosure #1 and Boudreaux Bear is in Wild Enclosure #2. King B is glad to have “his domain” back – remember, he is definitely a creature of habit, and for the short time he was there, Boudreaux messed up the routine. Boudreaux, who is a laid back bear if ever there was one, is adjusting very well to his newest space.

Boudreaux plays with the swingy ball in Enclosure #2. He’s still a cub at heart.
Oh my! Look how chonky and chubby he is. The 120 pounds really show.
He finds a “forbidden tree,” protected from destruction by a covering. Of course he has to investigate.
Boudreaux seems to think that this sapling needs pruning, or partial murdalizing.
Caught in the act! Boudreaux’s eyes glow in the dark as the camera finds him.

Boudreaux Bear will do fine, no matter where he goes. He is a laid back but very confident bear. After all, this is his fourth enclosure at ABR, and he has adjusted to each without difficulty.
