Black Cubs in Fall Trees

Comments are off

The photos we have for you today are a study in contrasts.  The trees are dressed for fall in their colorful leaves, and the furry black bear cubs stand out very well.  Of course, out cubs “dress” the same in every season, but in fall we think they look especially striking.  See what you think about their looks.

Andy and Eliza Bear stand out against the colorful foliage.

Eliza is a picture of relaxation.

Andy Bear snoozes in a colorful tree.

Finnegan was on his way up or down the tree and couldn’t be seen except for his “mittens.”

The cubs are definitely slowing down and spending more time napping in trees.  This is a clear signal that they will be ready to find dens when they leave ABR.
