Last night, the Enclosure #2 cubs, the “Big Four,” went to bed early on their platform.
A pile of chubby cubs went to sleep.
In the morning, they were still in about the same place. This is definitely a sign of impending hibernation!
Over in Enclosure #3 –
Tinsel was sleeping at the base of a tree around midnight. Glowing eyes revealed that the other girl, Twinkle, was on her way over.
Tinsel got ready to climb up and escape. But instead, Twinkle joined Tinsel at the base of the tree!
Surprisingly, they slept there until morning! There was a tree trunk between them, but it was the closest they had been to each other yet!
In the morning, they had words with each other.
Tinsel even gave Twinkle a couple of swats!
What will happen next? Was Tinsel’s assertiveness enough to show Twinkle that she was not going to be intimidated? Will Twinkle back off from her previous bullying behavior? It’s hard to predict. Stay tuned!
