As we’ve seen for several weeks now, the cubs are putting on weight at a rapid pace. Of course, this is just what they are supposed to do, so we aren’t complaining, and neither are they.
Bud Bear hasn’t put on a lot of weight . . .yet. But we’re sure he will before he leaves us.Stout and Porter Bear are using their resting platforms and seem to be comfortable on them.At first, Stout and Porter stayed very close together, but now they are comfortable apart, as well.It’s good that they are able to be together or apart.The cubs in Wild Enclosure #3 were active late into the night.In the morning, chunky Lemon Drop foraged on her own.The boys in her enclosure went off in another direction.India foraged alone in Wild Enclosure #4.What a roly-poly cub!The cubs keep getting rounder and rounder.All three of these chonky cubs are foraging together.We don’t usually see all the cubs together, but here they are. Very healthy looking, too!
It’s been observed that they are so plump and round they look like furry bowling balls. It’s a good thing that ABR doesn’t sit on top of a hill, or they might roll away before time for release.
