September Bears

September has brought with it very obvious hyperphagia on the part of the cubs.  They eat and eat and eat some more – then they rest and sleep.  We saw Bumble B Bear foraging in our last post; this time he was sleeping up in his favorite tree.

Bumble is sleeping in his tree. If this were in the wild, he’d be hard to spot.

Yes, it’s the season for bears to fatten up (or chubbify).  They are doing a good job!
