Our two, tiny, neonate cubs, #390 Nibbles and his brother #391 Bits, are in the ABR Cub Nursery, in an incubator. These little babies are extremely fragile, as Curator Tori explains in this Facebook Live presentation. It will touch your heart. Tori fills us in on the particulars of their rescue and their eventual placement at ABR. We can’t help but wonder at the miracle of the very recent birth of these bear cubs as we hope fervently for a surrogate mother bear to be found soon.
And so the first members of the Class of 2024 are introduced. And while it is always a thrill to be a witness, we realize that a bear mama can do a far better job of raising cubs, thus our hope that a foster mom can be found. Stay tuned.
