The cubs in Enclosure #1 will be released back into the wild after the first of the year. But in the meantime, they carry on in the normal cub ways.
Doodlebug surveys her kingdom and keeps an eye on the other cubs from high in a tree. We remember when there was great concern that she was not able to climb! How that has changed!

Is he telling them to come back down? Maybe so, but we don’t speak bear, so can’t be sure.
These cubs have grown and chonked up so that we are sure they’re ready for release and to live their own lives in the forest. They will continue to thrive as they grow, we are sure!
