We are sure that you think that nests are for birds, not bears. But, as you know, larger bears often make ground nests or daybeds during the warmer months of the year. Curators Haley and Cole brought nest-making material into the enclosure and awakened the nest-building instincts in our two cubs.

Do you notice that Twinkle and Tinsel are getting chonkier as the days go by? We do, too. Bear cubs can put on weight astonishingly fast. These two girls will be ready for release sooner than anticipated!
