Today we have a short video of the cub and two yearlings in our care. Bits is still in the ICU st UTCVM, where he is doing very well. ABR has ordered an incubator like the one that they are using now to keep Bits warm. It is coming from Avey Incubator in Colorado, and it should arrive in a day or two, at which time Bits will return to the ABR Cub Nursery. We are working with the doctors at UTCVM to arrange for sharing our new incubator, since we will never need it after January-February but they can use it for other wee ones who aren’t bear cubs. It was an expensive item, over $1000, but it will be worth it!

Our two yearlings are dividing their time between Enclosure #3 and Enclosure #4. Since they roam through both enclosures, it is challenging to find them, but the curators manage to locate them at least once or twice a day.

We are sure you will enjoy this short peek into the current lives of our little bears.
