The ABR cubs and yearling are still at it – they forage, eat, sleep, and repeat throughout the day and night.
Heather, in the Acclimation Pen to eat. She looks out of the pen. No, she is not captured. She can come and go as she wishes.
She has rounded out nicely – a rotund yearling bear!
She has a stylish peanut fascinator on her nubbin when she leaves.
It won’t be long until she returns for more!
Nettles came down her tree to forage.
She foraged near her tree, in the undergrowth, away from the Fight Club Girls.
Two of her enclosure-mates came near to check her out, but soon were seen running up a tree. They are afraid of her!
At the same time, Nettles raced up her tree. She is afraid of them, too!
Over in Enclosure #3, the cubs are everywhere – up, down, and all around!
Myrtle wanders into the Acclimation Pen for a bite to eat.
The Fight Club girls are not too worried about Nettles, as long as she is in her tree. They eat and play in the Acclimation Pen, but don’t sleep there.
Out they go to find a tree or ground nest to sleep.
The bears are still carrying on their normal activities. We wonder when the real lethargy will kick in. Time will tell, but it shouldn’t be too long.
