This is a video from our Facebook Live with Curator Tori that shows little Nettles as she is adjusting to life in the Hartley House. This indoor space, which is climate controlled and safe, allows the tiny cub to eat nourishing food and get plenty of rest. She needs both of those things in order to gain weight. Of course an indoor space, no matter how comfortable it is, is very foreign to a wild black bear, and Nettles was a wild bear for nine months. You will enjoy seeing her in this short video. At the end is a reminder to vote for ABR as a finalist in the Land Rover promotion that might win us a brand new Land Rover 4WD vehicle that would be very useful in navigating the mountainous terrain in the Smoky Mountains, plus $25,000!We will appreciate your voting for us!
Thank you for your support of our mission and our cubs!
