<ABR has a zipline! No, it's not for the cubs to play on. It is an experiment in delivery of food for the cubs by "zipping" it into the enclosure from a point on the ouside of the perimeter fencing. This will make it possible for curators to provide food with absolutely no human contact, which is our goal. We thank Smoky Mountain Ziplines for this installation. This one is in the wild enclosure that is not being used at the present time – Colton Bear is in the other one, and after he is released, that enclosure will get its own zipline.
