As you may recall, ABR currently has three sets of triplet cubs in residence. In Wild Enclosure #4 we have the “Herb Sisters” – Rosemary, Sage, and Sorrel, along with Little Trouble, the cub who had a jar stuck on her head for a week.
Our designated photographer, Ken LaValley, stopped by recently to take some high resolution photos. The only cubs who cooperated were the Herb Sisters. Even their roommate, Little Trouble, remained hidden. Here are Ken’s excellent images of the three sisters.
Rosemary and Sage Bear posed by their Cubby Pool.
They shifted positions and posed again.
Rosemary seemed to be a willing model for Ken!
Here she is again. What a ham!
Sorrel, the smallest cub of the three, showed her little cubby self. She is a cutie!
Ken’s photos are always outstanding, and we enjoy them. Aside from our pleasure in seeing them, the curators share these photos with the vets at UT, and the details help to guide their decisions about the care of our cubs.
