The newest cubs are rather timid and seem to be afraid of the larger cubs that are at home in the large pen. This little brother and sister stay close to each other and are not yet mingling with the others.
Although all of the cubs at ABR are the same age, having been born in late January, these two, having been in the wild with their mother until early September, have not had the extra nourishment that the “old-timers” at ABR have enjoyed, thus their smaller size.
