We have shared a number of videos of the rambunctious cubs at ABR, but today we have a video of the three yearlings. Through the miracle of the enclosure cam, we are able to watch them being bears. These are actions we never saw before the cams were installed. Since yearlings are usually solitary, we always assumed that if we had more than one yearling they would keep their distance and not interact. Turns out that’s not quite true. This video shows them actually initiating and engaging in play, although one yearling – Iris Bear – is more of a loner, it seems. Nevertheless, it’s good to see that they are getting along and having some fun. Click here to see the three yearlings in their Wild Enclosure.
