We observed a strange incident in Wild Enclosure #3. There was something that attracted the attention of all five cubs. Although the usual reaction is to run away from something strange, and often climb a tree to get away, this time, the cubs went toward whatever it was.
All of them found __??___ fascinating! They started to walk in that direction.
No human in the area was able to discern what caused this fascination.
The cubs met at one of their daybed locations. Please note Myrtle. She is looking very good and is definitely a member of the group now!
They sat together, staring at ___??? Wish we knew what it was!
The cubs next door in Wild Enclosure #4 were not interested at all, if indeed they were aware of the object of interest. Two cubs slept on their platform, two more were in trees, and Nettles was in her own tree.
Heather was in her favorite tree.
And the Christmas cubs in Hartley House were oblivious. They are getting along and doing well since their rescue.
Now that the releases have been postponed until after Christmas, the bears can continue to eat, sleep, and grow, while we can watch and wait.
