We have been predicting the release of our cubs and yearling, describing the release protocols, and watching the plump, rotund, chubby, and chonky bears as they continue to eat and sleep. It turned out that today was scheduled to be a release day, but circumstances prevented that. So all of the cubs and our yearling are still munching and crunching at ABR. We have a video of curators Tori and Bailey who answer some questions and show some footage of the cubs. They even describe the process to clean the rooms of Hartley House, where the most recent arrivals (the Christmas Cub Triplets) are housed.

Here is the video:

Since the cubs didn’t know about the release plans, it doesn’t matter to them! For us, it gives us a couple of weeks longer to enjoy watching their behavior before we say goodbye as they are released. That is something we can appreciate!
