Frequently, we do not see our yearling for several days, but here is a video of her playing on her 21-month birthday, October 22, 2022. In the beginning we see her as she arrived in August, covered with bites from unknown animals. What a wonderful recovery she has made! Of course, she is still recovering, and will be released when the wildlife officers determine that it is time.
We are so happy that Heather is doing so well and look forward to her eventual release back into the wild, where she belongs.
