Pistol Creek Catch of the Day, a talented music group from Maryville, TN performed at Mast General Store in Asheville, NC on Saturday, July 11th and donated all of their tips to Appalachian Bear Rescue.   The band members learned of our great need for funds to help feed our 8 hungry little bear cubs from now until their release in the fall.  The cubs are eating two pickup truckloads of fruits and vegetables per day at a cost of approximately $3000 each month!

ABR appreciates the generosity of these multi-talented musicians in donating their time and energy to our cause. 

We also appreciate the Asheville Mast General Store for permitting us to set up a display in the store during the afternoon, before the music program.  The day was a huge success and helped us to get started on our intensive fundraising effort.
