We have a sequence of photos from Wild Enclosure #3 – the home of the “T” cubs. Taco, who was the first one to arrive at ABR in May, was especially busy and engaged today. He is really growing and chubbifying!
The four cubs posed nicely (how did that happen?) Taco is the big guy in the back.
Truffle, one of the two female cubs, may be teething. She is certainly concentrating on chewing that log!
Taco puts his effort into moving the safety log in the Cubby Pool.
He will move it by brute force!
Truffle moves out on the log while Taco tries to move it. Oof!
Here’s another log, larger and out of the water.
This is a good place to play and wrestle. Even though it seems that the cubs are entering hyperphagia and will be eating rather than playing, they still take time to play. They played a game of “whack a cub”,and Taco waited for the cub in the log to come out so he could bop it.
What Taco didn’t realize was that the cub in the log had gone out the other end of the log!
Sorry, Taco, you’re out of luck. That cub is gone.
No problem, Taco can stretch and then have a snooze. Cubs can adapt well to changes in plans.
