The chubby cubs at ABR are making good progress toward their eventual release back into the wild. These images tell the tale.

The Wild Enclosure #1 cubs seem to be in a food coma. Perhaps they are. At any rate, they are chubbifying nicely!

Among the Fight Club girls, we witnessed the attack of the Shadow Cubs! Scary thought – twice as many bear cubs?!

It almost looked as though the shadows were winning!

Eventually, they all flopped down by the vertical den.

Now here is a chonky young bear – Heather the Yearling is chonky personified!

She had a quick dip in her pool to start the day.

Then she set off to forage.

Her caboose has rounded nicely!

After swatting the swingy ball, Heather climbed up to the resting platform.

Heather is doing very well.

It’s hard to corral all the cubs in Enclosure #5 into one photo. Here are 3 of them.

A wrestling match between Taco and Myrtle will have to suffice.

Here is part of Nettles Bear. Look at that tummy of hers! Good Bear!

Here is the rest of her. She flopped in the doorway. Another food coma!

The curators are happy to see her eating like a bear!
