The three out-of-state yearlings are really growing! They are looking more like yearlings now and leaving their cub personas behind. Still sleeping for more than half of a twenty-four hour day, they have time to play and to forage, and even to do some digging.
The legs are getting longer, which is typical of yearling bears. They lose the chubby, round cub shape and grow taller. How much will they change between now and their release time? Wait and see.
