Our little cub,Flapjack, who was rescued from a busy area near the Pancake restaurant with the same name, is settling into The Cub Nursery.
First, of course, he had his exam at UTCVM.
Flapjack weighed 7.2 pounds. Not bad for an almost three-month-old cub.
His baby teeth are in good shape.
He was not sedated for the exam. The vets don’t like to sedate such a young cub unless it is absolutely necessary. They have to handle him carefully!
Curators Cole and Bailey prepare the rooms in Hartley House for Thumper, who will be moving in.
During the move, they stop to weigh Thumper. He weighs 10.3 pounds!
He sticks his paw out of the carrier.
Thumper has nice rooms. Eventually he’ll share them with Flapjack.
Thumper dashes into the room.
There is plenty of room to play.
Thumper falls asleep in his Cub Cave. It’s been a busy and tiring day.
