Little HRH Rover Bear, in the Hartley House, has been busy redecorating his room. He seems to want his “furnishings” moved around until they are just exactly right.
Here he is reaching out to touch his Not a Polar Bear. He has his food bowl snuggled up to his belly.
Then he started to drag his blanket and NAPB to the bowl.
Seems that he wants everything in the bowl.
Problem is he can’t eat around NAPB now!
That’s better! Time for a nap.
The Christmas Siblings are back in the Acclimation Pen.
We misread their plans. They weren’t trying to open the gate, they were pulling the tarp through the fence!
Up on the resting platform, they tried to get at the tarp on the other side from there. Bears love to shred tarps! We’ve seen this before, with other young bears in our care.
Here is a better resting place for them – up a tree!
Checking in on Lovey Bear –
He’s coming along well. He is walking without a limp, in fact! Granted, he is hard to see because of the lowered ceiling.
So we’ll go back to Hartley House and HRH Rover Bear, who is still moving things around.
He is cozy between NAPB and his soft cubby cave.
No, that’s not right. Out with NAPB! He takes up too much room.
The cave should be over here.
That’s good. Rover sleeps on top of his cubby cave like Snoopy on his doghouse.
Or maybe – Rover sleeps on top of NAPB – that’s better!
He was still sleeping there in the morning, so he finally got things moved around to his liking!
HRH Rover is doing well for such a very needy little bear. The curators are very cautiously optimistic about his prospects. Keep your fingers crossed, and say a little prayer for him!
