We have a few more photos today, and the good news is that Finnegan and Eliza were in the same tree with no huffing, slapping, or other signs of stress. First, we see Finnegan high in the branches of a tree. Very high! The curators had never seen him go quite so high before.
Eliza Bear climbed up the same tree.
Neither of the cubs made threatening or angry moves.
Every encounter between the cubs that is not accompanied by huffing, clacking and swatting is considered by the curators as a step in the right direction. It is vitally important for Finnegan, especially, to associate with these other two members of his species. We hope the trend continues.
