Several of the ABR bears woke up early and decided it was too early to get up. Most went back to sleep. The night vision cameras allow us to see these scenes for the first time this year.

The three yearlings were asleep on their platform.
They quickly decided that it was too early to start the day.
Jessamine Bear, in Wild Endlosure #1, was up but resting on a tree branch.
Two of the Triplets woke up, shifted position, and went back to sleep.

It’s so fascinating to be able to see the cubs and yearlings in the dark. The curators have learned a lot about their behavior.
