Our new yearling, Lovey Bear, doesn’t care what the weather is, since he is in the climate controlled Recovery Center. He is sleeping a lot, which is very good for him.
He looks very small on his bed, but it’s good that he is sleeping through the night.
The curators are happy that he is eating and taking his meds.
Mistletoe and Peppermint, in Enclosure #3, were swatting at each other as they sat on branches of the tree in the rain.
Later they were seen foraging in the rain.
Curator Tom was cleaning out the Cubby Pool in Enclosure #1, to get it ready for the next cubs.
Curator Bailey was doing the same in Enclosure #2. The pool-cleaning is a tough job, after the cubs had used the pools all summer and fall! Talk about a bathtub ring!
Job completed! A sparkling pool, ready for the next arrivals! Seems that a curator’s job is never done!
