It was an interesting day, indeed, though it started like any other day and night in Wild Enclosure #2.
Night time and the four cubs climb up to the platform to sleep. They like to huddle together. It has been quite chilly these last few nights!
In the morning we saw a most unusual sight –
One of the cubs passed by two cubs fighting. Usually, a cub who sees a brawl immediately joins in. But this time, the cub walks calmly past the two brawlers!
Minding its own business, indeed! A very rare occurrence.
The two continued to pummel each other, while the “passerby” doesn’t even turn around to see what happened. Amazing!
A bit later, the cubs relaxed and soaked up some sun. What a life!
In Enclosure #1, there were more fisticuffs.
And the three cubs in Acclimation Pen #4 are anxious to get outside. Be patient for a few more days, cubs, and then we hope the vets will give you the OK to be back out in the enclosure!
The vets will decide sometime this week, after one more checkup. Our fingers are crossed!
