Black bear cubs, especially the fourteen five-month-old cubs at ABR, are always busy. With the recent hot weather a lot of their business is centered on or near the Cubby Pools.
Jellybean (Enclosure #1) wanted to get rid of the Safety Log, like many cubs before him.
He didn’t seem to be able to remove it.
So he solved the problem by sitting on it and causing it to sink!

Sundae received branches of cherries. If you recall, she was found in a cherry tree.
Wild cherries are a favorite food. In case you’re wondering, they do not eat the pits, but spit them out and eat the fruit.
The gate between rooms was lowered during the night, keeping the cubs in their own room.
