The four little bear cubs at ABR spend a lot of their time above ground, that is, in the trees.  One of the curators got some great photos of three of the four cubs the other day.  Somehow, we don’t think that any members of our own species would be so comfortable on a tree branch, but it suits the cubs just fine.

The foot belonged to Sugar Bear, who was above them in the same tree.

Every day our cubs show us that bear cubs do, indeed, belong in trees.
