We never know what to expect of the bears at ABR. We had some much-needed rain that disrupted the schedule they have been following.
The cubs in Wild Enclosure #1 are the “giants.” The rain deposited water in the tires, giving them that delicious tire water. All four enjoyed it! Yum!
Heather the Yearling went across the platform and then climbed down to forage.
Looking good, Heather! She has made such excellent progress at ABR!
All five of the cubs in Wild Enclosure #3 managed to squeeze into one section of the resting platform. It’s nice to see Myrtle in there with the others.
The rain caused them to stay up in their tree.
In Enclosure #4, the girls took their Fight Club upstairs.
On the ground or in the trees, they can fight anywhere, and any time!
Nettles sleeps in some interesting positions. She seems to like to be near the door to the next room.
Curator Bailey disinfects the floor to keep our Nettles healthy.
It took a while, but Nettles liked her honey logs.
She is eating well, sleeping well, and growing. The curators are expecting to release her into a Wild Enclosure soon. The question is – which one? Stay tuned for the answer to that question!
