The cubs that are now in the large enclosure enjoy being up high (on the roof of one of the pens) to look our over their domain. This also provides shelter when the weather is bad, or to sleep in at night. They are still young (about 6 and one-half months old now) and no doubt feel secure inside or on top of their familiar pen. Although bears generally are solitary, these little guys have been together as a family unit for several months and often hang out together, to eat, rest, and play.
