If you missed it, today’s Washington Post includes an article about Smokies bears. The article quotes supervisory wildlife biologist (and wonderful ABR supporter) Kim Delozier.   The quote I like is “Bears are cute and cuddly only when stuffed,” i.e. the kind available from the Smoky Mountain visitor center.  When you see the next Bear Tracks newsletter (sent to all ABR members) you’ll see why this is such an accurate statement.
