The two Louisiana cubs, Boudreaux and Beignet, are fed every four hours. Their tummies let them know when it’s time, and they in turn let the curators know. But sometimes it takes a bit of doing to actually wake up and get going. Even little bear cubs feel like “staying in bed” for a few minutes longer sometimes.
Meanwhile, his sister Beignet is still dead to the world.
Of course, Beignet did wake up and both cubs received their formula to start the day. They are growing and becoming bigger little bear cubs.
