On Friday afternoon the ‘Sister’ cubs Rose and Loretta were sedated and weighed, and given a general examination – body temperature, dental check, as well as measurement of neck circumference and paw size.  They were then returned home to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park  weighing a respectable 69 and 74 pounds! Rose is the bigger of the two.

We will post many more photos of them during the release process at ABR, but here are some ‘last day’ photos of them.
