We have some “late news” about the bears, starting with Nettles, who made an unusually revealing appearance recently.

Nettles carried an apple up on the platform.

She ate it with relish, munching every morsel.

The fur has grown back on her legs.

Nettles will be released soon.

HRH Rover is doing well in his enclosure, although he looks a bit on the raggedy side. He’ll improve gradually.

Rover enjoys the bounty of food in the enclosure.

He can fit through the space now, but we’re sure he won’t be for long!

Townsend will be in a wild enclosure soon.
