We start off today’s post with a picture of Tartan Bear at night, when our night vision camera turns him into an “electrified” bear, thanks to the light from the camera and his reflective eyes.

Tartan is a spooky sight! He’d be a good Halloween bear, in a different season.
In daylight, the camera catches him in mid chomp while foraging on tasty treats.
Investigating the Cubby Pool. Tartan walks on the safety log. We’re betting that he will remove it before long.
He climbs up to the resting platform, stopping en route to lick insects off of the tree.

We’ve been having problems posting over the last few days. Hopefully, the problems are over, and we’ll be able to keep you abreast of what our yearling is doing. Watch this space.
