Say hello to Tiny, cub #18!

Comments are off

As you know, all of the recent arrivals have been very small, especially for yearlings.  And our newest yearling, #18, is certainly no exception.

Here he is at arrival on March 12th.

In the first photo, you see him lying in the carrier that transported him to ABR.  He was exhausted and spent time sleeping.  After a good rest he sat up and ate a bowl of yogurt (cubbies’ favorite food when they are so small) and drank a bowl of Pedialyte (they need this to rehydrate their deprived little bodies).

After that, he went to sleep again, sleeping soundly for many hours.  After a few days of recuperation alone he will join the other two smallest bears, Amethyst and Thunder.
