The officers move the bear by carrying it on a litter to the workup area.  The first order of business there is to weigh the animal.

The 11 bears released on December 19, 2011 ranged in weight from a low of 76 pounds to a high of 144 pounds.  Considering that they arrived at ABR weighing between 3 and 15 pounds, you can understand why we have such big food bills!
