There was a lot of rain, causing flooding in the area. The yearlings in Enclosure #4 couldn’t decide where to go.
Jessamine spent some time on the platform. Boudreaux and Beignet chose to go into the loft. Beignet waited for her brother up in the loft.Later, Jessamine came in to join them.Two hours later, all three yearlings moved up to the platform. They didn’t stay there for long.Eventually, the LA yearlings did sleep in the loft, and Jessamine was outside. She probably slept in a tree, unseen by the camera.
They had a restless night, but as we can see by the time stamp on the last image, they slept very late. So it may have taken them a while, but they did, eventually get their zzzzz’s.
